T/E Board to Consider Facility Leasing Policy

The Tredyffrin Easttown School Board meets Tuesday night.

The Tredyffrin/Easttown School Board will consider the district's official policy on who gets to use district playing fields and other facilities and who gets first dibs on renting the facilities.

A policy draft sets priorities for groups from A (School-Sponsored Activities and Student Organizations) to G (For-Profit and Other Organizations) and sets certain requirements the groups who rent space.

Students from Beaumont Elementary and Conestoga High Schools will be honored during the T/E School Board meeting.

The Beaumont students will be recognized for their participation in Peace Day Activities and a bake sale in support of the Lupus Foundation.

Conestoga students will be recognized for a Pennsylvania School Press Association Award and a Conestoga High School Political Debate.

T/E Middle School will also be recognized for winning a Sportsmanship Award for the Second Straight Year.

The School Board meets at 7:30 p.m. at the School District's Administrative Office at 940 West Valley Road in Wayne.
