Sun. Road Closures Coming to Valley Forge NHP
A road race on Sunday will mean roads will be closed in the morning.

On Sunday April 22, 2012, from approximately 4:30am to 11:00am, Valley Forge National Historical Park will close several roads in the park.
These details are posted on the Valley Forge National Historical Park website.
The following roads in the park will be closed during that time period: Outer Line Drive, Inner Line Drive, County Line Road, Gulph Road between Thomas and Valley Forge Park Roads.

This temporary closure is being made to accommodate the Valley Forge Revolutionary Run, which will be utilizing the roadways as part of the course. These road closures are necessary for the safety of participants in the race and to avoid conflict with other visitor use activities. Only these roads will be closed for the race. Other areas of the Park will be open as normal including the Visitor Center.
SEPTA BUS CHANGES

Additionally, the 125 SEPTA bus will not be stopping at the Visitor Center on Sunday April 22, 2012 for its first 2 scheduled stops, at 10:04am and 11:54am.  Bus Service will resume at 12:04 pm. The closest 125 stop will be at the BNY Mellon station, east of the park entrance on Route 23.
