Thank You, TE
And now a personal message from your friendly neighborhood TE Patch editor.

Dear TE Patchers,
Twenty-two months ago in the lobby of the Upper Main Line YMCA we literally flipped the switch (OK, a guy at a computer terminal in Baltimore actually hit the "enter" button) and Tredyffrin-Easttown Patch was born.
we launched what we hoped would become a integral part of your daily routine and a new service for Tredyffrin and Easttown.

I don't use the term "we" lightly. While many people know me as "the face" of TE Patch, I am part of an amazing team of people that stretches from the Main Line to Patch Headquarters New York and Coast to Coast. We are a national company of more than 900 Patch sites dedicated to letting you know what's happening just around the corner right here in Tredyffrin and Easttown. As much as I wish I could claim to have the tech-smarts to build a site like this and the sales accumen to pay for it, I am but one part of what has made TE Patch a success.
Even all the people in sales, technology, design and regional editorial management at Patch are not the secret to our success in TE. I am part of that regional team but I am just one small piece of the puzzle. I have been privileged to "fly the plane" from the co-pilot's seat since we pushed this baby back from the gate.

The key to TE Patch is YOU.
One of the greatest joys of my job at Patch is to have the opportunity to introduce a brand new resource to people. With Patch, you are now empowered to share your stories, businesses, concerns, triumphs, and accomplishments with your neighbors.
We want Patch to be your connection to everything and everyone in TE.
In the coming months there will be even more exciting ways to use the Patch platform to connect with people from around the corner, down the street and in the neighborhood. As always the key to Patch's future success lies with you, our wonderful TE Patchers.
Keep uploading your events, announcements, blogs, photos, comments and keep telling us about the people that make TE such a wonderful place to live, work and be Patchy.
An important housekeeping note about contacting TE Patch:
We love to hear from you. The fastest way to connect with TE Patch via email (yes, real people get, read, and respond) is to send it to te@patch.com.
And now the bittersweet part for me...
While TE Patch will continue to fly higher with you in the captain's seat, I am relinquishig my front row seat to take on some new responsibilities as the Editor of Haverford-Havertown and Springfield Patch in Delaware County.
I will truly miss the amazing people I have covered and friends I have made as a result of being the TE Patch Editor. Don't worry (for better or worse) I will still be part of the same regional editorial team that has been behind the face on the homepage since we launched TE Patch.
While the move to my new assignments within Patch is bittersweet, I am happy to report that site will be co-piloted by an experienced Patch Editor from right next door in Malvern.
You're going to be in good hands!
Pete Kennedy's face will appear at the top of TE Patch as he takes on the job of TE Patch Editor starting Tuesday.
Pete and I will be talking about stories as they come along and I'll be weighing in on Patch stories and on the Tredyffrin Patch page on Facebook.
Thank you, TE!
I am so proud of the Patch site you've built so far and excited to see how you will continue to help TE Patch grow. I am honored by the trust so many people have placed in me, and in Patch.
Thank you to the many wonderful people who have not only embraced Patch since we launched but who have made me feel warmly welcomed.
Here's to you, TE!
