Thieves looking for one common thing have hit more cars in Tredyffrin Township. According to Tredyffrin Police items have been take from several cars lately. In four of the new cases the vehicles were left unlocked.
Upper Gulph Road in Wayne
May 5 - Police were called to the 200 block of Upper Gulph Road in Wayne.The victims called to report that they discovered a purse was missing from their unlocked vehicle. According to police, the theft occurred sometime overnight. Items in the bag included a camera, valued at $180.00, a wallet containing ID, US currency, and several credit cards.

Grove Avenue in Devon
May 11- Two victims told Tredyffrin Police that both of their vehicles were entered sometime overnight. The victims reported they had loose change and a Blackberry phone taken. Both vehicles were left unlocked.

Berkley Road in Devon
May 11- Tredyffrin Police were called to the report of another theft from a vehicle. The victim told police that the remote locks were malfunctioning, causing the doors to remain unlocked. The only item missing was a cell phone charger.
Poplar Avenue in Devon
May 11 - Police responded to 2 more thefts in the 200 block of Polar Ave. in Devon just before 6 p.m.. Police say loose change was stolen from each of the vehicles. Total missing was between $5.00 and $6.00. Police did not say whether the cars had been reported locked or unlocked.
