Thomas Road Closing For 4 Weeks In Tredyffrin Township

During the four-week closure of Thomas Road in Tredyffrin Township, Drivers will be detoured to Richards, Glenhardie, and Walker roads.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Thomas Road in Tredyffrin Township is closing for four weeks due to roadway reconstruction by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, officials said.

Thomas Road will be closed between Richards Road and Red Coat Lane/Park Ridge Drive.

Drivers will be detoured to Richards, Glenhardie, and Walker roads.

The project's contractor will perform a full-depth reconstruction of the section of Thomas Road beneath the turnpike.

The temporary traffic light and construction barriers will be removed, and Thomas Road will reopen to one lane of traffic in each direction.

The commission said Thomas Road will close under the its substantially completed project that widened and improved the turnpike and its bridges between mileposts 324 and 326.
