Main Line moms selling giftable for all ages
Around the back of the country fair, two Main Line moms, Elisabeth Katona, 35, and Melissa Sinni, 42, were overjoyed to get a spot due to a last minute cancellation.
The moms own the Blue Beret, a shop in downtown Wayne featuring giftables for babies, children, art supplies, jewelry, books and puzzles.
“I came here as a little girl to enjoy the fun,” Katona said of the horse show.
Katona said she met Sinni through their children’s school, St. Katherine of Siena, Wayne. The two have backgrounds in merchandising. They partnered in retail and became great friends.
“We’re a couple of girls who always dreamed of having a store,” Katona said.
The shelves at the Blue Beret booth are lined with dazzling decorated headbands, purses, art supplies, and books.
