Tredyffrin Police Say Wayne Man Possessed Child Pornography

A German native living in Wayne faces more than 100 counts related to his alleged possession of child pornography.

A Wayne man is free on bail following his arrest Friday by Tredyffrin police for charges that he possessed child pornography, according to Main Line Media News.

Max Lamping, 34, of Abrams Court, has been charged with more than 100 counts related to police allegations that he had materials depicting child pornography, according to court records.

The charges include 50 counts of obscene and other sexual materials and performances; 50 counts of sexual abuse of children and one count of criminal use of a communications facility. Main Line Media News reports that Tredyffrin police conducted a search of electronic devices at Lamping’s home Friday following a year-long investigation.

Lamping, a German national, was arraigned before Magisterial Judge Thomas Tartaglio and released on 10 percent of $100,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled for April 3 before Judge Analisa Sondergaard.
