Tredyffrin Police: Two Philadelphia Men Arrested In 2 Home Burgaries

Derrick Carter, 42, and Keith Ennett, 52, are in Chester County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail each.

TREDYFFRIN TWP. —Two Philadelphia men were arrested Monday afternoon on charges of burglarizing two homes in broad daylight earlier in the day, police said today.

Derrick Carter, 42, and Keith Ennett, 52, are in Chester County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail each after being arraigned Monday before District Judge Nancy Gill in Parkesburg.

At approximately 11:00 a.m. police responded to a reported burglary in progress on the 1500 block of Franklin Lane in the Chesterbrook development.

Police observed two adult males, two men, later identified as the suspects, exiting the residence and confronted them.

Carter and Ennett attempted to flee, but were quickly apprehended and taken into custody by responding officers.

During subsequent investigation, officers determined that the same individuals were responsible for another burglary that occurred earlier Monday in the 400 block of Walker Road at the intersection of Thomas Road.
