Tredyffrin Seeks Volunteers to Spread News

Tredyffrin Township is looking for official liason volunteers to get the word out about news affecting local neighborhoods.

Tredyffrin Township is looking for volunteers who are willing to help spread the word by being a "point person" for hyper-local neighborhood news from the township.

The new call for volunteers is part of the township's effort to increase communication about developments affecting specific neighborhoods. According to a flyer distributed at Monday night's Board of Supervisors meeting, "your role as a representative for your Homeowners Association, neighborhood, or community is crucial to the public participation process!"

Signing up is as easy as clicking here and then filling out the form.  The URL is http://www.tredyffrin.org/general/notifications.aspx

The township is hoping to find a point person to help spread new to everyone in a given neighborhood as the need arrives. So, for example, if a township crew is going to be working in a neighborhood, or there is an emergency of some kind of emergency or development that affects your neighborhood, but not people living in another part of the township, you would help spread the news delivered to you from the township.

The simple form asks you to fill out basic contact information and your address.
