Two Arrested by Tredyffrin Police for Heroin Distribution
Two Philadelphia men are allegedly involved with a heroin delivery operation in the western suburbs.

Two Philadelphia men face felony drug charges after police say the two were involved with a heroin delivery operation that reached the western suburbs.
Luis Angel Medina-Carbonell, 24, and Jomar Trinidad Medina, 22, were arrested by Tredyffrin police on April 24 and charged with manufacturing, delivery, possession with intent to deliver and related counts.
Medina-Carbonell, of the 2000 block of East Monmouth Street in Philadelphia has been remanded to Chester County Prison on $250,000 cash bail. Medina, of the 2100 block of East Birch Street in Philadelphia, also remains in Chester County Prison, on $200,000 bail.
While serving a warrant at a Philadelphia residence, police reportedly discovered crack cocaine, heroin and drug paraphernalia that was used for the packaging of heroin and crack. The recovered drugs and paraphernalia was recovered by the Philadelphia Police Departments Narcotics Field Unit and Tredyffrin Detectives.
“I would like to thank all of the detectives and officers involved in this lengthy investigation for their dedication and hard work, Tredyffrin Police Supt. Anthony Giaimo said in a statement. “Drugs in our society have destroyed communities, families and of course lives. As law enforcement officers, we vow to continue the fight against drugs and to tirelessly pursue those who supply our community with these illegal, harmful substances.”
Members of the Chester County Regional Emergency Response team are also credited with helping with the arrests.
