Two TE Businesses to Shut Down Abruptly Today

One has a corporate savior who rides in a yellow car instead of a white horse.

Ritz Camera in Paoli Shopping Center has been set to close down at the end of tis weekend for a while now. Instead Thursday will be the beloved store's last day in business.

The sudden change in closing date came as a surprise to some employees who returned from a lunch break Wednesday to see the countdown sign had been suddenly changed from six days to one.

Their surprise was tempered by the news behind the sign.

Cardinal Camera, a Lansdale, Montgomery County based and family owned camera store chain is buying the lease and taking over the locations of 11 Ritz Camera stores, including Paoli effective Monday.

The other store that is shutting down today is the Pizza Hut in the Paoli Village Shoppes.  The manager confirmed to Patch and signs in the store announce the closing after many years in that location.
