Waterloo Avenue In Easttown Closing For 2 Days: PennDOT

PennDOT said resurfacing work will close Waterloo Avenue in Easttown Township for a few days in the coming weeks. See closure details here.

EASTTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Waterloo Avenue in Easttown Township will be closed in the coming weeks due to resurfacing work, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, the work is part of ongoing projects to repair and pave more than 200 miles of state highway across the Philadelphia region.

The closure will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 8 and April 9.

The affected portion of Waterloo Avenue is between Lancaster Avenue/U.S. Route 30 and Berwyn Avenue.

During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Berwyn Avenue, Midland Avenue, and Lancaster Avenue.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
