Police: Man Charged in Theft of Trash Men's Christmas Gifts
Homeowners had taped envelopes containing gift cards and cash to their trash cans, Tredyffrin Police said.
A Malvern man faces charges after Tredyffrin Township Police said he stole Christmas presents intended for local trash men.
Norman Victor Demko, 50, of Malvern is charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, police said.
Homeowners on Windswept Drive and Pine View Drive in Malvern; Greene Road and Revere Road in Berwyn; and Brookmead Road in Wayne taped envelopes cash and gift cards to their trash cans, police said. The envelopes were intended to be gifts for the homeowners’ trash men, but were stolen instead.
