What's Going on at Casey's Ale House?

A missing sign and a construction crew in the parking lot prompted several readers to send emails asking if Casey's has closed.

According to a sign posted on an interior door, it turns out that the popular restaurant and sports-themed bar is just shut down for renovations this week and will re-open next week.

Businesses owners all over TE have told Patch that the summer months, esepcially July, are much slower times so it appears that Casey's is just taking advantage of the summer slump to spruce things up a bit.  A peek inside revealed workers busy in the main dining room even as contractors had taken down the restaurant's big sign acrross the front of the building.
