Where Are You Spending Christmas?

Which part of the holiday is the most important to you?

With large families, in-laws, divorces, step siblings, half siblings, step parents, significant others and more, it can be hard to nail down every family member for one Christmas get together at the same time and the same place.

My parents divorced when I was young, so my Christmas was always split up. I would be either at my Dad’s or my maternal grandparents on Christmas Eve. Christmas morning would be spent at my house with my Mom and then for dinner on Christmas day, I’d either be at my Dad’s or my maternal grandparents, depending on where I’d been the night before.

As I’ve gotten older, my family has grown, and I’ve gotten married. The holiday arrangements have become even more complicated.
