Why is New Paoli Camera Shop Still Shuttered?

Last week Cardinal Camera had said it would be a tall order but the plan was to open their new camera store in the former Ritz Camera location in Paoli Shopping Center on Monday.

Blame it on the cable guy, but the opening has been delayed at least a few more days.

Cardinal's Claire Schweitzer says the lack of a working internet conection is the biggest problem. Without that internet connection customers can't email photo processing orders to the shop and online business is obvisouly impossible.

Last week Schweitzer told Patch that even Cardinal did not expect to have the store fully stocked with cameras and equipment by Monday. The hope was that the processing equipment Cardinal is purchasing from Ritz would allow the store to open for at least photo printing and processing.

Schweitzer says Cardinal had expected the internet connections to be left in tact but that did not happen. Cardinal is now waiting to get their internet hooked up. She says the company is hoping to be able to open the store within the next few days.
