WINTER WEATHER UPDATE: When the Storm Will Hit, How Bad it Will Be

More than a foot of snow is possible for the region.

Winter Storm Juno’s wrath may not be as bad here in Philadelphia region as it will be in New York City, but it will still be bad.

“Some of the more extreme solutions for the storm in this region have ebbed,” said Gary Szatkowski, a Meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, N.J. “So, snowfall amounts have been lowered.”

Forecasted snow totals for the Philadelphia region overall have been lowered since Sunday, but the area could still see up to 16 inches, the NWS said.
