Woman Struck, Killed on Paoli-T'dale Tracks
Breaking News: A woman is struck and killed on the tracks near Thorndale station.
SEPTA has resumed service between Malvern and Thorndale on the Paoli-Thorndale line after a woman was struck and killed Wednesday morning along the tracks near the Thorndale Station.
SEPTA issued a service alert at about 6:50 a.m. stating that service between Malvern and Thorndale had been suspended. Amtrak also briefly suspended service on its line between Paoli and Harrisburg.
As of 7:49 a.m. SEPTA and Amtrak reported that service had been restored on both railroads. SEPTA tweeted that Trains #503 and #9538 would be first trains to and from Thorndale.
