• DCCC graduates 48 from police academy (delcotimes.com) — A new police officer from Trainer is among 48 graduates of Delaware County Community College’s Municipal Police Academy, celebrated Monday at Sun Valley High School in Aston. The class includes recruits for SEPTA, Upper Darby, and Chester County, with a strong showing of women and Neumann University students. The academy supplies most municipal officers in Delaware and Chester counties.
