$2,800 Jewlery Theft Reported at Fort Washington Hilton Garden Hotel
According to Whitemarsh Police reports, approximately $2,800 was stolen from a guest room at the Hilton Garden hotel in Fort Washington.

According to Whitemarsh Police Department, on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at approximately 5:54 p.m., officers responded to the Hilton Garden hotel on the 500 block of Pennsylvania Ave in Fort Washington for the report of theft from a guest room.
According to the guest, she left the room at approximately 7:45 a.m. that morning and returned to allegedly find the door propped open with the interior slide lock.
The victim told Whitemarsh police that she notices that her closet door and suitcase were both allegedly open and had been rummaged through.

According to police reports from Whitemarsh Police, the victim claimed a white leather pouch containing the following items was missing:
- A pair of white gold hoop earrings ($500)
- White gold necklace with a cross containing diamonds and sapphires ($900)
- White gold bracelet ($200)
- Watch with a white gold face and white leather band ($1,200)
