A Pair of Suspected DUIs
Upper Dublin Police arrested the following people for suspicion of DUI.

Michael R. Sarro, 42, of the 100 block of Stanley Avenue, Glenside, was arrested March 22 at about 9:30 p.m. after he crashed a gray 2012 Kia Forte into a stone wall in the 300 block of Camp Hill Road, causing heavy front passenger-side damage, police said. According to police, Sarro had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. Sarro agreed to a breath test, which yielded a blood alcohol content readout of 0.18 percent, police said; he also had deficiencies in his field sobriety tests. A breath test at the police station at about 10 p.m. yielded a blood alcohol content of 0.148 percent, police said.
Sarro, who was not injured in the crash, was released to a family friend, police said.

Christina L. Newsome, 24, of the 5000 block of Akron Street, Philadelphia, was arrested March 22 at 2:15 a.m. after she did not come to a complete stop at a stop sign near the corner of Pennsylvania and Reech avenues, police said. According to police, Newsome had slurred speech, bloodshot and glassy eyes and her breath smelled of alcohol. She failed a field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol content of 0.113 percent at 3:05 a.m., police said. Newsome was released to a family member at about 3:32 a.m.
