A TaylorMade Theft and Other Stolen Items in Upper Dublin

The following items were stolen in Upper Dublin this week, according to police.

Theft … Someone entered an unlocked, black 2002 Acura TL parked in the 600 block of Bell Lane sometime before March 26 at 6:35 a.m. and stole a prescription bottle of medication, some change, a digital camera, a wallet and a set of TaylorMade golf clubs valued at $2,500, police said. According to police, the victim’s Heritage debit card was used to make a purchase at a Wawa in Philadelphia.

The victim’s stepfather’s unlocked truck, which was parked nearby, was also entered. Police said someone stole a digital camera and $147 from the truck. 

Theft … Someone stole a white smartphone with a blue case from a windowsill at the basketball court at LA Fitness on March 26, police said. According to police, the victim, who is from Brooklyn, said he never left the basketball court and was always in sight of the phone. The victim said he tried to place a call to the phone, but it did not go through. The phone is valued at $500.

Theft … Someone stole two bicycles that were parked on the side of a house in the 400 block of Stuart Lane between March 26 at 6 p.m. and March 28 at 6 p.m., police said. According to police, one of the bicycles is a BMX Innovators “Ripper” model valued at $307. The bicycle has a black frame with red handle bars, fork and seat. The word “Ripper” is written largely across the frame. The second bicycle is a purple women’s mountain bike that is missing the grips on the handlebars.
