Hearing Scheduled for Abington Woman Arrested for DUI in Upper Dublin
A December hearing has been scheduled.

A December hearing has been scheduled for an Abington woman who was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in Upper Dublin in June.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on Saturday, July 7, at approximately 2:37 a.m., an Upper Dublin Police officer was on duty in the area of Butler Pike and Susquehanna Rd.
At that time, the officer reports that he came up behind a silver Toyota Corolla. While following this vehicle, the officer observed it allegedly cross the white fog line and straddle the center dividing line twice. The vehicle then allegedly turned right on red, where a sign prohibited turning on red, at Butler Pike and Norristown Rd.

The officer initiated a traffic stop for the observed violations at Norristown Rd. and Hood Ln.
According to the report, the officer could detect a strong odor of alcoholic beverages on the driver of the vehicle, identified as Carla Cueto, of the 2800 block of Grisdale Rd. in Abington, and the officer alledges her eyes were glassy.

According to court reports, Cueto stated that she was driving her friends home from the bars in Manayunk and they were trying to get to Horsham. She said she knew she had been stopped for the red light violation and admitted to having consumed three beers and half a long island iced tea.
Cueto was administered four field sobriety test, during which she allegedly showed signs of impairment.
According to the report, "Due to Cueto's driving, the odor of alcoholic beverages, her admission to drinking and performance in field sobriety testing, she was placed under arrest at 2:53 a.m."
She was transported to Willow Grove FastTrack, where she was observed for 20 minutes and provided two breath samples, with a low reading of .144% BAC.
