Alleged Theft ... Following a Cookie Purchase
Upper Dublin police say a man stole money from a local business.

Police said a man stole $40 from Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches Friday afternoon.
According to police, a man, described as Hispanic, 5-foot-8 with a black mustache and a thin beard, purchased a cookie from Jimmy John’s in the 3600 block of Welsh Road with a $50 bill at about 3:30 p.m. on Friday. When the employee gave the man his change, the man put two $20 bills in his left rear pants pocket. And as the employee gave the man his coin change, the man told the employee that he still needed two $20 bills. The employee looked around and gave the man $40.
