A total of 203 students were inducted into the Montgomery County Community College Alpha Kappa Zeta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the international honor society of two-year colleges, during the fall 2010 semester, according to Alana Mauger, Communications Director for the college. To be eligible for PTK membership, students must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 and must have completed at least 12 credits.
