
Join the Upper Dublin Marching Band at Cardinal Stadium on Saturday evening, September 15 for the 40th Annual Spectacle in Sound Marching Band Competition.
This annual musical event has had audiences coming back for more for four decades and has become a major local competition in recent years.
This year The Marching Cardinals welcomes twelve local high school marching bands. In addition, the event features a special guest performance by the Temple University Diamond Marching Band, a 200 member college marching band that is well known for their musical excellence.

Among the high school bands performing this year are: Hatboro Horsham HS, Plymouth Whitemarsh HS, Wissahickon HS, Upper Moreland HS, Abington HS, Cheltenham HS, and Central Bucks West, as well as Upper Dublin HS.
Each band will take to the field to perform their annual marching field show. A field show is a unique artistic combination of heart pounding musical performance, colorful dramatic elements, and marching athleticism all combining to create a thrilling visual effect on the field.

The Upper Dublin Marching Cardinals will perform their 2012-2013 field show "Fluid Dynamics" featuring musical arrangements by our own Mr. Christopher Horn, the Upper Dublin High School Director of Bands, and Mr. Sean Kennedy, Band Director at Sandy Run Middle School. The first high school band steps onto the field shortly after the Star Spangled Banner is played at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased at the gate and are $10 for adults and $5 for school aged children and seniors. Younger children are free. Plenty of parking is available on and around the new Upper Dublin High School campus.
Handicapped parking is available close to the stadium.
