Belfry Club to do ‘King Lear’
The Fort Washington-based club will perform Shakespeare's 'King Lear' this weekend.
The Belfry Club will put on a production of William Shakespeare’s “King Lear” in the Honickman Auditorium on Friday March 8 and Saturday March 9.
The performance will feature Shakespearean actor Brian McCann as Lear.

Too often, the peace and prosperity of a great monarch's reign is torn asunder by a contested succession. As the father of three daughters, King Lear has called the Great Council to see his youngest married well, and the duties of governance passed onto the next generation while he still lives.
Due to scary and dark scenes, and violence, the performance is not recommended for children under 12.
