Dresher Resident Lands Chemistry Award

The biology major was recently honored at a Chestnut Hill College ceremony.

Chestnut Hill College freshman biology major Jason Wasserman was given the “Outstanding Student in Freshman Chemistry” award at an honors convocation on April 28.

Each year, the department of chemistry and physics recognizes a student who has shown superior achievement in his or her first-year chemistry studies. As part of the award, Wasserman received a copy of “The Handbook of Chemistry and Physics.”

Chestnut Hill College is a four-year coed Catholic college offering a liberal arts undergraduate program, as well as accelerated undergraduate degrees, master’s and doctoral programs.
