Woman Arrested on Suspected DUI

Upper Dublin Police arrested a Southampton woman for suspicion of DUI early on St. Patrick’s Day.

Caitlin Vanhorn, 21, of the 500 block of Cushmore Drive, was arrested at about 2:41 a.m. near the corner of Friends Lane and Meetinghouse Road in Ambler after police said they saw a Silver Hyundai Elantra driven by Vanhorn swerve over the double yellow lines, crossing into the other lanes of travel. According to police, Vanhorn then stopped at a green light before making a turn, made a wide turn and crossed the double yellow lines again. She was unaware of the traffic violations, police said. 

There was a smell of alcohol emanating from the vehicle, police said, and Vanhorn took a PBT which registered 0.103 percent.
