Upper Dublin Township is proud to offer to free "anything with a plug" recycling event, to be held April 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Upper Dublin Township Administration Building located at 801 Loch Alsh Ave. in Fort Washington. All types of electronics will be accepted for free, including computers, monitors, printers, air conditioners, comuter accessories, and household appliances. White items containing freon will be capped for free.
Small businesses with less than 50 employees are also welcome to bring their obsolete electronic equipment.
All material collected will be responsibly recycled by eForce Compliance, who maintains a zero landfill policy and zero export of hazardous e-waste to developing countries. eForce is Pennsylvania's only multi-certified electronic recycling company (R2,e-stewards, ISO 14011) and assures all data media will be destroyed or wiped at thier facility.
