FBI: Masked Bank Robber Likely Linked to Three Others
The man who robbed the Upper Dublin PNC Bank on March 30 may be a serial bank robber, according to the FBI.
The FBI, Philadelphia Division, said earlier this week that the man who robbed the PNC Bank at 1015 South Bethlehem Pike late last month is suspected in robbing three other banks dating back to June.
The man is believed to be responsible for also robbing the following banks:
- June 8, Colonial American Bank, 300 Welsh Road, Horsham
- Sept. 28, First Federal Bank, 803 Park Ave., Wrightstown
- Jan. 18, Wells Fargo Bank, 706 Stony Hill Road, Yardley
In each robbery, the subject has covered his face with a black ski mask or a white pillowcase or sack with the eye holes cut out, according to the FBI.

The man is described as white, between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-2 with a stocky build. He may have blue eyes.
In three of the four robberies, he has been dressed in a jacket and tie. He’s also been known to wear latex gloves, sunglasses or safety glasses, and a large-brimmed straw hat, the FBI said.

The man has displayed a small black semi-automatic handgun, sometimes in a shoulder holster.
The FBI said the man should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about him is urged to call the FBI at 215-641-8910. There may be a reward for information leading to the man’s capture. Those providing information may remain anonymous.
