Fort Washington Native Injured in Weekend Wisconsin Accident

Fort Washington native, Megan Nyquist, 20, sustained injuries during an accident in Green County, WI on Saturday.

According to a report from NBC15 in Madison, WI, the crash investigation showed that Dennis E. Case, 60, of Rockford, IL, "was north bound on CTH G approaching STH 11. Case stopped at the stop sign and proceeded into the intersection failing to yield to an eastbound vehicle operated by Alexander J. Catalan, 24, of Beloit, WI."

Both vehicles sustained severe damage and were towed from the scene.

Nyquist was one of three passengers in Catalan's vehicle. All were wearing seat belts and airbags were deployed in both vehicles.

"Case was issued a citation for Failure to Yield Right of Way from Stop Sign and released pending court," according to NBC 15.
