Local Gas Up Slightly, Down Nationally

Check out where to find the cheapest — and the most expensive— gas in Upper Dublin.

Prices at the six gas stations being tracked week-to-week by Upper Dublin Patch held steady for the most part. Three of them kept the cost of regular gas the same while two gas stations lowered the price of regular by a penny.

Shell, in the corner of Bethlehem and Butler, was the only gas station to raise its prices; regular grade went up by $0.06 to $3.69 and premium went up by a dime to $4.09.

The average cost of regular at these six gas stations is $3.70, up a penny over last week and about $0.07 higher than the national average, according to AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report. The average for premium gas is $4.05; that figure’s about a dime higher than the national average.

Sunoco is selling the cheapest 87- and 93-octane dino-juice. It’s going for $3.52 and $3.89, respectively. The Exxon station is selling the most expensive regular gas at $3.89 per gallon.
