Local Gas at National Average

Three of the gas stations being tracked week-to-week by Upper Dublin Patch dropped the prices of their regular fuel, bringing the average cost of a gallon of gas at these stations to $3.69, which is the national average, according to AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report. The 7-Eleven in the corner of Butler and Bethlehem pikes was the only gas stations to post an increase in either grade of gas over last week. 

The average cost for a gallon of premium gas sits at $4.05 — about six cents higher than the national average and almost a dime higher than the Philadelphia average.

If you’re looking for cheap 87-octane gas, fuel up at either Sunoco or Cumberland Farms. Both places are selling it for $3.53 per gallon; in both instances the price is a few cents cheaper over last week.

The cheapest premium gas can be had at Sunoco, where 93 octane is going for $3.89. Sunoco is also the only gas station to sell 91-octane fuel, which is the minimum octane required for several vehicles.

Exxon is now selling the most expensive regular fuel; it weighs in at a hefty $3.89 per gallon. And Lukoil is selling the most expensive premium fuel at $4.23 per gallon.
