Girls Lacrosse Loses to Merion Mercy in Tournament

The Upper Dublin High School girls lacrosse team lost to Merion Mercy 14-12 in the 13th Annual Katie Samson Lacrosse Festival held Saturday at Radnor High School.

Merion Mercy scored 11 in the first half and Upper Dublin, while scoring 8 in the second half, couldn’t overcome the deficit.

The event is named for Katie Samson, a Radnor High School lacrosse player who suffered a spinal cord injury while sledding in a nearby park and became a quadriplegic.
