Local Photog to Display in Craft Fair

Upper Dublin's Craft Fair takes place Saturday morning.

A few craft artists showed up early to set up for the Upper Dublin Craft Fair. One of them was local photographer Judy Miller.

Miller, of Fort Washington, set up shop in the township building around 3 p.m. Friday. She sorted prints of her photographs, and scattered some on the table. Many of her photos deal with nature — on display were pics of trees, lily pads and flowers. She said she’ll set up some of her larger prints tomorrow morning.

Miller who has been shooting pictures since she was in junior high school, said she’s won several awards, and recently showcased her work at Foulkeways.

“It’s a big hobby of mine, and something like this is good for artists — it will get us some exposure,” she said.

The Upper Dublin Craft Fair happens Saturday, March 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature over 30 local craft artists. The Upper Dublin Township Parks and Recreation department hosts the event, going into its third year.
