Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard Completes Expansion Project

Project included an expanded boutique, freezer and waiting area.

On Oct. 18, Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard celebrated the completion of the first phase of their expansion project, according to the Ambler Gazette.

The expansion project took four months and expanded the boutique, freezer, and waiting area of the cupboard.

"Christine Bouley, executive director of the Community Cupboard, said the new 11-by-25-foot freezer now offers more space, makes the facility more energy efficient and has the ability to hold more turkeys and hams during the holidays," according to the report.
