New Jersey Man Arrested at Twining

The man allegedly had a BAC of over 0.240 percent.

Police arrested a New Jersey man on Valentine’s Day at Twining Golf Course.

He was by himself.

Michael Wisniewski, 41, of the 1000 block of Vessel Lane, Manahawkin, N.J., was arrested just before midnight on Feb. 14 after police saw him sitting in a blue Honda Civic parked on the grass at the Twining Golf Course, police said.

According to police, Wisniewski was facing southbound on the Twining Golf Course and there was fresh damage to the left rear fender and a rip in the metal in the vehicle’s C-Pillar.

Wisniewski was the vehicle’s sole occupant, according to police. While speaking with police through the passenger side door, there was an “overwhelming” smell of alcohol emanating from the car; when Wisniewski exited the vehicle, he almost fell over, police said.

According to police, Wisniewski had an unsteady gait, slurred speech and had a blood alcohol content of 0.244 percent. Wisniewski was issued a non-traffic citation for public drunkenness.
