Philadelphia Eagles Talk Of The Town In Montco
Philadelphia sports radio station 94WIP held its Birds Town Hall at MaGerk's Pub & Grill in Horsham on Wednesday to a packed house.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA —It was all about the Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday at MaGerk's Pub & Grill in Horsham Township.
From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Philadelphia sports radio station 94WIP set up shop in a far corner of the bar area in the popular Horsham Road eatery as radio personalities aired their shows and discussed the official start of the NFL's free agency period.
They call it the Birds Town Hall and WIP has held numerous town halls at the restaurant at 307 Horsham Rd.

During the station's "Afternoon Show" around 5 p.m. Wednesday, the place was packed as crowds ordered food and drink and hobnobbed with WIP sports legend Howard Eskin, who just did a guest stint before mingling with patrons.
Meanwhile, the radio show's panel chatted away about the free-agent signing of New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley and the team's decision to bring back safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

Radio hosts Jack Fritz, Spike Eskin, and former Eagle Ike Reese —along with Rob Ellis and Eagles beat reporter Eliot Shorr Parks discussed, debated, analyzed, and argued points and counterpoints and team needs throughout the last hour from a table above to the delight of the crowd.
Patch was there for the last hour and greeted some of the radio stars.
