
According to Upper Dublin Police reports, on Sunday, Oct. 21, at approximately 6:45 p.m., an officer was dispatched for a report of a hit and run in progress in the area of the 600 block of Bell Lane.
Police dispatch advised responding officers that the striking vehicle was a dark colored SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Suburban with a flat tire.
According to reports, upon the officer's arrival to Bell Lane, the officer observed a male and female walking their dog on the sidewalk along Bell Lane. He stopped stopped and asked them if they had seen a vehicle go by with a flat tire.

According to police, the male said "yes," just a couple of minutes ago. The male also said the vehicle had driven "up Bell Lane and turned right onto Edison."
As the officer continued up Bell Lane, he noticed, according to reports, a fresh trail of what appeared to be dark colored fluid on Bell Lane in the area of Terrace Drive. The officer followed the fluid trail as it continued along Bell Lane to Edison Drive where it turned left into a driveway on the 1600 block of Edison Drive, where the vehicle was sitting in a driveway.

According to the police report, the driver, identified as Jennifer Gentile, of Maple Glen, had glassy, bloodshot eyes, sporadic and slurred speech, and the overwhelming odor of alcoholic beverages emanating from Gentile's breath, the officer asked her to perform field sobriety tests.
At 7:06 p.m., the officer placed Gentile in custody. A PBT registered Gentile's blood alcohol content to be .204%.
Charges are pending lab results.
