UD School Board Discusses PSSA Scores
PSSA results show there is still an achievement gap at Upper Dublin School District.
According to a presentation to the Upper Dublin School Board, there still exists an achievement gap between black and white students on standardized tests.
According to Assistant Superintendent Robert Schultz, PSSA reading scores for third grade black students saw a decrease from 2011 scores to 2012. According to a reporting the Ambler Gazette, "To help the groups improve, work will be done with the students during the daily 30-minute response to instruction and intervention period of the day."
Third grade math scores were called "excellent" by Schultz in the report, with 94.4 percent of the third grade students achieving proficient or advanced.

Fourth grade math scores were the highest scores in Montgomery County and "sixth-grade math scores reflect a narrowing of the achievement gap."
