Fireworks, music, midway and more will entertain the young and the young at heart at Upper Dublin's Community Day on Sept. 29.

From Upper Dublin Community Day Committee:

September 29 is fast approaching and preparations are being finalized for Community Day, Upper Dublin’s day of free family-friendly fun and community pride. Radio Disney AM 640, part of the #1 radio network for kids, tweens and families, is joining in on the family fun at the Upper Dublin Community Day. The Radio Disney AM 640 Road Crew will be hosting interactive entertainment featuring music and prizes. There will also be bands from the Fort Washington School of Rock and performances by UDHS groups, including the premier performance of the new a cappella group, V0X. The Give & Take Jugglers will appear with a new feature: a "three-person little circus" featuring aerial fabric, trapeze, and tight wire. Some other performers include the Institute of Dance Artistry, the Upper Dublin Chinese Association, and the Mar Thoma Church doing a cultural Indian performance, along with strolling entertainment including mimes, a ventriloquist, and balloon twisters sponsored by Brandywine Sr. Living at Dresher Estates. Radio Disney will begin between 3 and 3:30 p.m. and run for about an hour and a half.

Over 70 booths and activities have been confirmed for the Midway.  Kids will love the wagon hay rides sponsored by the Upper Dublin Education Foundation, the giant inflatable moon bounce, the rock wall, and the monkey bridge.
