Upper Dublin Library Announces Special Hours During Renovations
The library does not plan to close for any days, however, there will be delayed openings on a few days during construction.

Information from Upper Dublin Public Library:
With only weeks to go before our November 5 construction start date, you will certainly be noticing some changes at the Upper Dublin Public Library (UDPL). Several collections have already been moved to temporary locations, including New Books , audio books (now in the children’s area), Young Adult graphic novels, Young Adult nonfiction and some fiction, and Reference. Please don’t hesitate to ask us if you can’t find what you’re looking for.
We at the UDPL are making every effort to continue to serve you well during renovations. Books and other materials will still be available for check out. We expect to receive our regular deliveries from the county with your requested titles each day. While some collections will be temporarily relocated as mentioned above, only a limited number of items, such as our Local History collection, will actually be put into storage.

In our new layout (see it at: http://www.upperdublinlibrary.org/cms/Portals/0/UDPL/about%20us/renovations_floorplan.pdf), the UDPL’s public computer workstations will be organized differently. In order to begin setting up the new layout, public computers will be made unavailable beginning at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 23. Every effort will be made to make them accessible as close to opening at noon as possible onk October 24. Because space will be limited, some public workstations will be temporarily stored offsite, meaning that there will be fewer public computers available during construction.
Several public tables will also be temporarily stored offsite during construction.
Some areas of the Library may be made temporarily unavailable during this time. We will make every effort to keep you informed of these changes as we can.
I apologize in advance for any inconveniences caused during the renovations and I ask for your patience over the next few months as the Library staff and I learn to operate in temporary and ultimately new surroundings. But I also look forward to sharing a reNEWed UDPL with you in 2013!
