A stolen iPhone and an honest resident

 

Theft … Someone stole a black, 16-gig Apple iPhone 4S from the women’s locker room at Upper Dublin High School on Jan. 14 between 8:35 and 9:25 a.m., police said. It’s unknown from which locker it was stolen, or whether the locker was locked. The complainant said the phone, which has a case on it, is valued at $600.

Found property … On Sunday, Jan. 13 at 1:34 p.m., someone found a brown leather wallet in front of 1713 North Limekiln Pike and brought it to the police station, police said. According to police, the wallet contained a Pennsylvania driver’s license as well as $221. A message was left for the owner.

Identity theft … On Jan. 9, a resident of the 3200 block of Shawnee Green Lane walked into police headquarters and said that on Jan. 4, she noticed a transaction on her bank statement that she did not make, police said. According to police, this statement was for $9 to an unknown website. The complainant discovered that the order had been placed for fishing equipment and it was being mailed to her home address. The person who opened her account used an email address not belonging to the complainant.

Burglary … On Jan. 14 at about 7:47 p.m. police were dispatched to the 3200 block of Pebblewood Lane in Dresher for the report of a burglary, police said. The complainant said that he observed that the two interior doors that lead into the main portion of the home were standing open. It is unknown what is missing, police said. The complainant believes that entry was gained via the back door.
