Upper Dublin Students Clean Up at State Computer Fair
Students from seven school districts compete in the Pennsylvania High School and Middle School Computer Fair.

Four Upper Dublin School District students took home some new hardware from the Pennsylvania High School and Middle School Computer Fair.
The annual High School and Middle School Computer Fair was held late last month at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit.

This year, more than 30 projects were entered into six categories, including animation, logo design, web page design, graphic design, digital movie and programming. Students from seven districts were selected to advance to the state competition at Dickinson College on May 21 and 22.
The winning Upper Dublin students:

- James Tralie won first place in the Digital Movie category for his video called “What is a Life?”
- Alexis Schneider won first place in the Animation and Computer Fair Logo categories for "Delinquents’ Day Off" and "Computer Fair Tech Today," respectively.
- Grant Gilfor and Jason Sobieski won first place in the Graphic Design category for "El Café Verde."
The MCIU organizes and hosts judging for the regional competition, which highlights Pennsylvania high school and middle school students’ application skills and computer knowledge.
