UPPER DUBLIN, PA —A high school teacher in Upper Dublin has helped to organize a cleanup of more than 100 homes in the community that were damaged by Hurricane Ida.

Barbara Mass began a social media campaign that gained traction and became known as the 'Chainsaw Gang,' a group of what ended up being 5,000 volunteers who have been helping to clean up properties that were affected three weeks ago by the remnants of the powerful storm, which caused widespread damage throughout the region, hitting municipalities like Upper Dublin particularly hard.

Mass and her band of volunteers were recently spotlighted on a segment on local television news station 6 ABC.
