Petals Of Gratitude Partners With Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance
Organizations Supporting Cancer Patients
Petals of Gratitude (POG) is a non-profit organization in Texas. Volunteers crochet flowers for cancer patients to share with their medical teams as a way to say "Thank You". Recently, POG announced that they have partnered with Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MIOCA), to join in their efforts to help provide support to patients.
MIOCA provides care packages filled with information, and comfort items to help women in Michigan recognize early detection and treatment options for ovarian cancer. The crocheted flowers, created by POG volunteers, are now also being included in the tote bags. Information regarding how patients may request bouquets for their healthcare personnel are printed on each flower. For more information about MIOCA visit www.mioca.org.
Petals of Gratitude is open to partnering with groups and organizations to help extend our services to cancer patients. If you are in the Michigan area, please reach out to Conni Barber, the contact and distributor for Michigan, at the following email address: petalsofgratitudeusa@gmail.com
