
The Upper Moreland Education Foundation is seeking interested parties to serve on its board of directors.
The foundation, formed in 1999, is a nonprofit corporation dedication to providing the Upper Moreland community with enhanced learning opportunities through creative and innovative educational programs
The foundation enjoys a close working relationship with Upper Moreland schools and has funded programs with an array of other community institutions, including the fire company, the public library, and private and parochial schools.

Interested parties do not need a professional background in education, as the foundation benefits from having a board of directors with a wide array of backgrounds and life experiences.
Additionally, the foundation especially benefits from participation by members of varied ages from young adults to retirees.

The time commitment necessary to serve on the boards is not substantial and only requires attendance at a monthly meeting, as well as annual and semi-annual fundraising activities.
