Willow Grove Church Recognized For Community Service

WILLOW GROVE, PA — Every community has its bright spots — the neighbors, businesses and local favorites that make it feel like home. As 2025 comes to a close, Patch and T-Mobile are recognizing the people, places and moments that made this year brighter in Willow Grove through our Best of 2025 series.

Who or what are you nominating for Best of 2025?

First Baptist Church of Crestmont

How did this person, place or experience make a difference in your life or community this year?

We donated food to needy people on hard times in the community. We collected toiletries for a shelter in Philadelphia. We sent our youth ministry to Puerto Rico to assist people in need. They also painted some facilities for people. We built a well for a village in Nigeria in Africa.

What would you like everyone in town to know about your nominee?

We collected hundreds of food items for people in our community that are having hard times. We collected toiletries for a shelter in Philadelphia. We have been collecting hats and gloves and scarves for people. We have had prayer walks for people in need of prayer.

If you could tell them one thing, what would it be?

I thank my church for teaching us the word of God and helping us live in the right way to help others.

What’s something you love most about your town or community?

We are a loving community. We look out for each other.
