Commissioners to Consider New Zoning District, Bally's Demo

The Upper Moreland Board of Commissioners will meet on Monday at 7 p.m. at the municipal building, 117 Park Ave., in Willow Grove. The governing body will hold a public hearing and consider rezoning certain properties and adding a new zoning district. 

The board will also consider a waiver and permission to begin demolition and construction activities at 151 York Road, the former Bally's property where a new Wawa is planned.

On Tuesday at 7 p.m., the Upper Moreland Historical Commission will meet at the municipal building as part of its regular monthly meeting.

Activity fees for Upper Moreland High School's fall sports camps–which begin on Aug. 12–are being collected at the high school on Tuesday through Thursday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Checks can be made payable to Upper Moreland High School.
